Velux Stiftung has managed to completely divest its assets from coal.
The reporting of end of September 2021 shows, the foundation has reached an important impact investing target: We are down to 0% coal-related holdings and we exceeded our goal of having a maximum of 3% exposure in fossil fuel investments and currently report 1.1% linked to fossil fuels.
Additionally, a total of 8% of our assets are invested in climate change mitigating illiquid investments as a result of our consequent impact-oriented investment policy since 2008.
